I know some of you guys are very clever at this internet stuff, so can you help.

I have been given this web site as proof of the authenticity of a financial firm, but the firms name cannot be found by Google and I am suspicious.

It's a generic scam site. I used to see them in support of references for job applicants in higher education.

For a scam its very well conceived. They want to help buy back some worthless shares I have for big money.

Sounds like the follow up scam to the boiler house scam, where they attempt to milk you by pretendinfg to help you out of a hole, particularly nasty, I think there is somewhere you can report dodgy/fake companies etc at Action Fraud.
