Bournemouth striker Glenn Murray has rejoined Brighton on loan

Bournemouth striker Glenn Murray has joined former club Brighton on a season-long loan.
Murray spent four seasons with the Seagulls and his 22 goals helped them to the League One title in 2011.
The 32-year-old - who scored three goals in 10 appearances for Bournemouth after joining from Crystal Palace last September - will now try to help Brighton's Premier League promotion push after they just missed out last season.
Chris Hughton's side avoided defeat in their opening 21 Sky Bet Championship games last season but finished third behind Middlesbrough (on goal difference) and Burnley before being beaten by Sheffield Wednesday in the play-offs.
"We are delighted that Glenn is joining us and that we have managed to secure someone of his experience and ability for the new season," manager Chris Hughton told Brighton's official website.
"Everyone at the club, and the supporters, know what Glenn will offer us. He is a real attacking presence who can lead the line, he's powerful in the air, and his goalscoring record speaks for itself.*

Murray during his first spell with Brighton

"He is a different type of striker to those we have got at the club already and will give us an extra option going forward.*
"Most importantly he knows the Championship well, he knows how to score goals at this level and what it takes to get out of this division.
"The move has been a long time in the making and the recruitment department has done an excellent job to finally get the deal over the line.*
"He is a proven goalscorer and an excellent addition to the squad."
