Brighton have signed defender Tyler Hornby-Forbes from Fleetwood for an undisclosed fee.
Full-back Hornby-Forbes, 20, who will initially join up with the Sky Bet Championship club's under-21 squad, has put pen to paper on a two-year deal.
"Tyler is another great addition to our squad and we are delighted he has joined us," Brighton under-21s coach Simon Rusk told the club's official website.
"He is a tenacious, physical defender with pace and likes to get forward, so he will give us some good options."
Hornby-Forbes, who progressed through Preston's youth system, made 38 appearances for Fleetwood, scoring two goals, after arriving on a free transfer in July 2014.
