Just seen this. Could be a good move. Someone who can motivate and is plain talking.. who would have thought a 'dinosaur' like this would be our next manager. i just might start liking watching england again

But on plus side Andy Carroll will now be overjoyed.

Seriously though think Big Sam will pick players on merit, not just because they play for a big club and don't think anyone will expect the football played to be pretty.

I can't help thinking Sam will take it one step further just to prove a point, and actively not pick players just because they play for a 'big' club.

He is a very good manager and Slaven Bilic appreciates how he left West Ham in good shape for him to take over. Sam knows his stuff and his passion will spill out to the players. His first test will be to drop Rooney.
