A couple of guys talking at the lads football training yesterday and one said "on good authority" we're in the market for a very expensive Premier League striker who's British.

Firstly, anyone heard anything similar and secondly who?

Peter Crouch.

Yes yes oh yes.
On good authority. Love it.
1) He made it up himself.
2) He heard it at London Road Ladbrokes.
3) Adam Virgo at Fiveways Co-op. Still my fav. Even beats Michael Owen at the Grand.
4) Glenn Murray.

On good authority usually means someone who has been to Lancing before. And not necessarily the training complex.

Crouch, Ings, Lambert.

All rumoured on NSC ( 'on good authority' ) at some point.

Bloody hell, who crapped on your doorstep.

Football board

Stated that it's a couple of guys st kids training, clearly not a conversation with CH himself.

General conversation

I realise I'm not one of the NSC elite but I occasionally post and make a contribution. So whilst I acknowledge this isn't the scoop of the century I equally don't need a moronic response from someone who is looking down on me like some kind of ignorant fool. I'm merely asking a question on a bloody forum ...... Flounce over

Obs it's Vardy, he's pissed off that after he committed to stay at Leicester, all their other key / star players have all chosen to leave so he's now looking to go too.

(sorry about the image size, can't seem to reduce it)

I guess the no imagination crew will get their way and we'll end up with Murray

Personally I just hope it's Kanchelskis.
