Miss his song ringing out around the stands and him winding up Strikers. Good luck Adam

I echo those sentiments. Had much in common with my all time fave Albion player, Danny Cullip. Both central defenders who could play hard and wind up opposition strikers when necessary, but nice guys off the pitch.

According to Escape to the Country very reasonable property prices there. Do they still have the man in a boat to collect balls kicked out of the ground. Rather ironic we finish up with Goldson from Shrewsbury and they replace him with El Abd ex BHA.

Doubt it they got a new ground about 5 years ago

That was Gay Meadow. They now play at the New Meadow or Greenhous Meadow which is next to a railway line so probably have somebody in a hi-vis jacket to retrieve the balls.

They moved stadiums in 2007 to the New Meadow so I imagine the man in the boat was made redundant.

I didnt realise that they had a new ground as I do not keep up with the lower leagues as I used to do when it concerned us.

There was a visit to the new ground in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. Beat them on penalties in a terrible match on Sky I seem to remember.

Yes, Sullivan in goal saved a pen to put us through. We blew it against Luton in the semis.
It's a nice ground.

Proper old school CB, hard as nails. My fondest memory of him was at the other end though. Gillingham away (can't remember the year) my dad scored free tickets off a supplier but they were for the home end!

The whole train journey my dad "whatever you do don't cheer if we score"... 2nd minute El Abd header from a corner, the only one who cheered was my dad. Got escorted out of the home end, along the touchline in front of some very abusive home fans into the away end (open terraced in the pissing rain with no coat)
