Chiellini and Bonucci would be in my XI, I thought Joe Allen was a walking red card vs. Portugal, he was outclassed and lucky to stay on the pitch. I'd rather have had Naingollan as CM in that position.

I though Kimmich and Boateng were pretty ordinary too.

I think that team underlines that it was a fairly low quality tournament. I do agree, however, that no England players are anywhere near that 1st XI list.

Ronaldo would have made the list even if he didnt play a game.

How there are that many Portugese players is baffling when they won only one game inside 90 minutes.

Chiellini getting overlooked is madness.

I'm surprised they found XI players that warranted the making of a team of the tournament.
Worst tournament I've ever endured.

Ramsey is a good shout, did really run the show while alot of limelight was on Bale. Portugese players, well its their defense so thats not too bad, Pepe was solid. bit of a difficult one as most top players follwed the Payet model, couple of outstanding gmes then little of note.

Poland's Jakub Blaszczykowski.

Was brilliant in all their games and if they'd won their penalty shoot-out, the Poles would've made the semis - beating Portugal.
