All I see is one jet finally moving off and loads of rain!

:D It's a trade show, doesn't move as fast as the public events.

You can 'rewind' the stream to get a bit more 'action' :)

Aaaah. I was expecting lots of action and missiles being fired and planes strafing the runways etc. Maybe I have been watching too many battle of britian films.

That is brilliant. As I am a sad fekker, I make wooden and plastic models and I will have a go at the A350. I love the markings and that looks like a beast to mask and paint, so challenge accepted.

On NSC for over two decades...
I don't need a live stream to enjoy the sight of the odd unusual aircraft, as I live close enough to Farnborough for them to fly right over my head from time to time - which is how the boy and I got a very good view of an Airbus A380 as we went out to take his new bike (an upgrade now he is off the stabilisers) for a spin the other day.

The A380 is fecking enormous!

Me too - can't wait.

How was RIAT?

RIAT was outstanding. Went on Friday and Saturday the F22 Raptor was awesome.

Looking forward to today, just hope it's worth being awake this early!

Really enjoyed that.

The F35 did its hover demo right in front of where we were sat, which was nice. That, the F/A18 and the Typhoon put out some serious noise, and the A380 is surprisingly agile for such a huge aircraft.

Shame the BBMF display was only actually a Spitfire flypast, and that the Reds weren't allowed to do their stuff, but you can't have it all.

Overall, a great day.

Took my 1yr old son to his first proper Airshow there today. He loved all the aerobatic stuff but fell asleep for the fast jets.

I agree tho, the F35 was great. Did its VTOL display in front of me too!
