Summer Sports......is it just me?

Why is summer sport so bloody boring.

Euro's- boring (mainly because England are shite)
Wimbledon - double boring.
F1 - should be good but isn't
Cricket - Sussex are in a hole
Bikes - pedal or powered - utterly boring
Athletics - not seen any but not complaining
Golf - playing ok to pass the time but watching on TV is boring
Olympics coming up but you would not know it. Zero build up on TV
Only highlight for me has been the England rugby success in Oz.

I should add that I refuse to pay for Sky sports so miss most of it anyway.

Can't wait for the season to start. Whinge over

They were showing fishing competition on Sky Sports News today......then went for an ad break when the Championship news thread finally appeared on the bottom of the screen.

I'm neutral to most of that lot, but like the euros and F1, and dislike tennis.

Wimbledon has been decent this year and today's final has huge potential!! Of course if you don't like tennis or haven't given it a chance this may be irrelevant

Eastbourne cricket week was a sad loss. Have missed Horsham this year. Not much cricket on a Saturday which seems crazy.

I love Grand Prix weekends, just about every other summer sport bores me, ironic given that F1 is seen by most as the dullest sport on earth.

Tennis has the ability to excite but for the most part is something to doze to.

Used to love that as a kid. Packed off with a packed lunch and scorebook (Statto!) and watching Imran and Garth Le Roux steaming in. And having a game on the outfield or on Town's football pitch.

Murray wins Wimbledon - at a canter.
Hamilton wins Grand Prix - at a canter.
Froome still leading Le Tour - at a canter.

They might all be 'bloody boring' but at least we're bossing them.
Imagine going back 10 years* to when we were shitehouse at almost ALL sport.

Yep, I agree I love sport when you more or less know who is going to win and who is going to be runner up,it takes all the stress out of it and you can sit back and relax.
If only football was like that, I would not have spent most of last season with a stomach like a washing machine.
