Ladies and Gentlemen, the REMF are pleased to announce that on Thursday 25th August we will be holding our first Footgolf tournament at Mid Sussex Golf Club in Ditchling.
For those of you who are unsure what Footgolf is, Footgolf is a precision sport where players kick a soccer ball into a cup in as few shots as possible. Its name is a portmanteau of "football" and "golf", and the game combines the two sports, being more closely related to golf.
The game can be played in teams of up to 4 people and will be played across 9 holes. The two best scores from each hole will be used and the team with the best score will win.
There will be a prize for the best team and one for the best player of the evening.
At present we are still sorting out the final details and costings of this event, so we are currently asking for people to start registering an interest by either contacting Mike Langridge on mlangridge@live.co.uk or Brett Mendoza on brettmendoza@hotmail.com
