...Brighton eyeing shock move for Chelsea starlet

Brighton are keeping an eye on Chelsea starlet Kasey Palmer, according to the report.

The 19-year-old was in impressive form for the London club last term, where he put in a string of excellent performances for the under-21’s before seeing his form rewarded with a spot on the bench for the first team.

The Seagulls are looking to build a team capable of improving on last seasons low finish, but are quietly optimistic under Chris Hughton that things could be on the up.

Presumably that article was written twelve months ago.

Nope; posted July 6 2016.

Palmer IS 19 (will be 20 in November) and made his first appearance on the first team subs bench against Swansea on April 9 2016.

With Antonio Conte taking over at Chelsea, chances may well be at a premium for some of their young stars, with instant success likely to be the order of the day at Stamford Bridge.

It is a current article (written by somebody who knows nothing about Albion).

If 3rd is seen as a low finish then I admire the ambition of the club, champions it is then.
