Not a transfer rumour. I just clicked on the trending tab on Twitter and low and behold Dean Hammond was #4, sandwiched between Wimbledon and Djokovic. I clicked the link to see he's been released by Sheff Utd, and good lord are they happy about it. Those that are Twitter literate I implore you to have a look, it's quite entertaining.

I follow a Sheffield United fan on twitter who is into his racing. The utter disdain he has for Hammond and Adkins has been most entertaining to read all year. I'm almost upset he's left.

Didn't realise that his loan from Leicester to Sheffield had a clause allowing him to sign a permanent deal at his option. He activated it at the end of the season and the new gaffer promptly transfer listed then released him (presumably at the cost of buying out his contract before the ink was even dry). Seriously!!!???!!!
Can see him washing up at Whitehawk. :lolol:
