Anyway, this one is well documented: Shankly on Finney from The Guardian 15 February 2014: Shankly's response to being asked in the 70s whether Tony Currie compared with the Preston legend. "Aye, he compares all right," Shankly rasped. "But Tom is getting on for 60."
