Not hyperbolic or bias but a misunderstanding on your part or perhaps mine, if I wasn't clear. The +7/8 point Labour lead was a reference to the survation polls that showed large Labour leads in recent months which were outside the polling norms of other companies which showed a much tighter race.

I know you were referring to the Survation polls, which is why I showed you the stats from Survation polls which showed you to be incorrect. Your point would have been fine had you not inferred Survation had been regularly polling Labour at +7/8 in recent months.

The only polling company that has given either side a big lead (more than 5%) in the last six months is Survation. Only for Labour, the last being in March (+7) which I would consider recent.

Now you're just picking and choosing polls. First, it's not good to refer to one poll as it can simply be an outlier. Also, 14th March was recent, and that's +0. The one before that was +3, which you ignored. The one before that, which you initially included, was +8. No problem with your point, just a problem with the way in which your were presenting how Labour had performed in Survation polls in recent months, "7/8 rating in recent months". One poll showed a +7 rating and one poll showed a +8 rating. You ignored the rest.

As I said you misunderstood my point.

2.) I gave two examples, 7 and 8 percent leads.

You thought I was suggesting 7/8 percent leads were the norm , I wasn't.
