I must say, having one of the highest average ages in the country Bexhill & Battle voted 58.5% stay, which surprised me

Hi Gazwag, that is a surprise, especially for Bexhill having a golden age.
My parents voted in, parent in law out!

A little surprising. I would have pushed it nearer 65-70%.

Mid-Sussex, Worthing, and, shockingly, Horsham, were quite a lot narrower than I imagined.

Horsham voting to stay is a right turn up.

Horsham voting to stay is a right turn up.

Jeremy Quin voted 'remain'. Sometimes the local MP can sway the electorate. Even just a little.

That said, Lewes voted 'remain' even though Maria Caulfield voted 'leave'.
