arrive back from holiday on the 12th August and with the first home game being on the 13th dont want to drive all the way to Swindon and back again.
Sooooo any recommendations for smaller hotels or B&B ?? anywhere really (within East Sussex)

When I stay over in Worthing the Travelodge on the seafront is good value. Parking easy there too.

Have you tried the THE OLD SCHOOL GUEST HOUSE Denton. It's very clean and reasonably priced and a 2 minute drive to Newhaven train station. And the partners owner is a season ticket holder. Hope this helps

But DO NOT stay in the Crown Inn. Its absolutely dreadful.

There is a Premier Inn in Burgess Hill. It's ok and comparatively cheap(ish) if that is all you are after.

Might be worth checking out the Blue Lagoon then, if you're in the area. Never stayed there, but had an all day breakfast once and it was DECENT.
