Sri Lanka much more likely to compete in this format I would have thought. Presume Chris Jordan will be playing?

I was MILES out

England 1 Jason Roy, 2 Alex Hales, 3 Joe Root, 4 Eoin Morgan (capt), 5 Jos Buttler (wk), 6 Jonny Bairstow, 7 Moeen Ali, 8 Chris Woakes, 9 Adil Rashid, 10 David Willey, 11 Liam Plunkett

Sussex could do without Jordan carrying water for the duration of his ODI career.

Think Plunkett deserves another go always seemed a little unlucky to be left out in favour of players little if any better than him ,not sure about Willey but i reckon if he falters Katie will play and vice versa , some very big hitters in the team which overall i think is quite good .

Six down.. the hapless Plunkett gets lucky... with Tharanga driving at a wide one and nicking though to Buttler.

and just when Mathews needs some sensible support play... Shanaka runs himself out off the 1st ball of the final power play :nono:

Never a run there... not good from SL :nono:
