Ron Watts The former 100 club promoter (who famously threw Sid out the 100 club after the glass throwing incident at the sept' 76 punk fest')
who opened up the club to many young aspiring bands.
Passed away yesterday (20/6/16) in Weymouth where he'd retired to just a few years ago.

Didint know him personally . I went to the 100 club to see one of Brighton up and coming band AMI. They were surporting UK Subs.
These are great clubs which give live music a great platform.
RIP

Met him a few times over the years at the 100 club althought he hasn't owned for quite some time but a really nice genuine guy.
Plenty of good stories told about the punk years.
