If anyone pays that, everyone outside the premier league may as well give up! Football will be dead!

Liverpool wanted 50 m for Sterling. And that was prior to the new tv deal.

Thank God no-one has suggested signing that penalty taker.

I want to win the Tour of Flanders & Paris Roubaix double.

What I want and what I get aren't necessarily compatible.

But they have already turned down £25 million apparently, so not that far off!

I guess I'm still suck in the old way of thinking when shitehouse footballers would cost a maximum of only £20,000,000, while goodish international players of note would cost £30 -£40m.

I remember the days when £30,000,000 was a lot of money.

So Leicester are sniffing for another forward. That'll be music to Ulloa's ears, not.

Suppose this might all only come off if Vardy goes somewhere.

TD is a very good player but not even £15m let alone £30m good.

I thought Watford did well to hold onto him last year when I thought maybe £8-10m would have been on the table. (Which I still find ridiculous)

Regardless of the increase in TV money the Prem food chain rules will always apply. Bigger money simply means bigger transfer fees. Logically, the other leagues around Europe should help feed Watford but the top strikers there will be winning domestic trophies and have Champions League football and Watford's cash won't be enough to tempt them.

I want to travel back in time to 1972 and have a passionate affair with Julie Christie.

I'd also like 30 million quid.

Would it make Ulloa surplus to requirements ???

Most likely as a replacement for Andrej Kramaric. Given they're going to be playing Champions League football next season, they'll want 4 decent strikers.
