Absolutely appalling. Apparently 2 men were arguing on the street, she intervened, one man pulled a gun and fired 2 or 3 shots, then stabbed her. Still unclear how many times she was shot but possibly twice. He then shouted "Britain First" or something like that. He has been arrested - 52 years old.

I'm basing my comments on:
-- the fact that an MP is in a critical condition as a result of one or both of being shot and stabbed
-- several witnesses heard the perpetrator shout Britain First before committing the act
Do let us know when you deem it appropriate to arrive at a conclusion.

And the man who was the first one to help her stated he heard no such thing. Therefore it's jumping to conclusions.
Better that we hope see pulls through and that he is in custody.
