Jogi Löw has apologised in front of the world's press for his ball-scratching, hand sniffing, arse-picking actions against Ukraine the other day.

Granted, it was one of the grossest things I've seen in any football match (along with all the historic clips of him picking his nose and eating the contents), but did it really demand a public apology??

It's not like his actions actually had any impact on anyone else- well except possibly the Nationalmannschaft's Media Relations Officer. Can't help feeling a dignified silence would have been the way to go.

One thing absolutely guaranteed, however, is that there will be a camera continually pointed at him for the entire duration of their next match

That's a sign of a real man.

Everyone does it. Watch posters on here deny it.

Far worse making a public apology.

Imagine finishing that match and then discovering you've been caught, and watching it go viral :lolol:

Imagine shaking his hand after the match has ended.

They've just installed these in the dugouts at the Stade de France:

I observed a certain Burnley manager making a hand movement that started close to his upper lip, moving in a northerly direction, through his hair, to the top of his head - captured by the Sky TV director on multiple occasions towards the end of last season.

This is really cruel: Germany can be the world champions, and they can even win the European championship too, but all that people will remember will be that their coach smelled his balls and played with his sh*t on TV. That's rather unfair.
