Jogi Lw has apologised in front of the world's press for his ball-scratching, hand sniffing, arse-picking actions against Ukraine the other day.

Granted, it was one of the grossest things I've seen in any football match (along with all the historic clips of him picking his nose and eating the contents), but did it really demand a public apology??

It's not like his actions actually had any impact on anyone else- well except possibly the Nationalmannschaft's Media Relations Officer. Can't help feeling a dignified silence would have been the way to go.

One thing absolutely guaranteed, however, is that there will be a camera continually pointed at him for the entire duration of their next match
