Excellent.

Any trouble on Wednesday / Thursday and they are gone.

Time for Putin to recall his thugs.

Good. Hopefully this ruling might also have some bearing on their hosting of the World Cup in 2018 too.
But, just to note, UEFA's ruling is only related to behaviour inside stadia, so expect any further violence to occur when Russia aren't playing.

So basically the same as the warning we already had?

No it's different. They have been found guilty and disqualified, the sentence has been suspended and will only be enforced should there be another breach. England have not been formally charged and investigated in the same manner. Expect that to change if we do initiate violence though.

Thankfully even to those idiots at UEFA that pre-planned and organised violence came from the Russians. Also the great emabarrasment of an outbreak of violence inside the stadium in front of a huge TV audience has humiliated them, they had to do something to cover thier arse and this is it.

I'd imagine it's the 2nd part which has been the trigger for this. EUFA can't allow such breaches of security inside the stadium, as it shows how worthless their supposed security (to counter terrorism) is for the venues. If they can smuggle fireworks and flares into the stadium they can smuggle guns and explosives. They need to be seen to be competent.

Imagine being disqualified from your own tournament? <Embarrassing>

That's a FIFA tournament though isn't it?? Does UEFA have power to ban one of it's members from a FIFA tournament?
