I didn’t realise you were into gardening. Looks like you have lovely loam there in HA4.

We’re on thin chalky soil in Withdean, so I have to improve it by bringing in well rotted manure each spring.

In between a family trip out today, I’ve watered some young trees in our 2 year old mixed native hedge. 22C in the shade here today, so the plants needed a drink.

Other than that, our native bluebells (bulbs planted last autumn) are finally doing well, as are chives being grown for the flowers, and everything else in taking off such as agapanthus.

I haven’t grown veg since I was a kid. Not enough time!

Cheers, its more London clay and flint all about.
So as much manure and compost into the soil helps.
It's great to be outdoors up the allotment, especially for social and bbq's.
Hard work is the key, once you've planted the seeds, just sit back and watch :)
