I have an Ariston MicroGenus that was getting E33 and E34 errors and which finally stopped providing hot water. Got a plumber round who replaced 3 parts ( not sure what the parts were ). Fixed it for a couple of weeks but now we have an E34 error. Despite me contacting him about it all he's done is send me his bill - strangely not paid.
I can sometimes get hot water by rebooting the boiler. Are there any GasSafe engineers on here that :
a) Have any advice as to what the problem is
b) Fancy actually fixing it
I get the feeling that all the original plumber was doing was replacing parts hoping to stumble on the problem. Maybe it's because I work in IT but surely it's not that difficult to find the problem and replace the correct part ?
