Gooner at work reckons they were after that Swiss chap they recently signed but were reluctant to meet the asking price so went in for Konte (also at Leicester) until the price for Swiss chap was reduced. He reckons they might be doing the same thing with Vardey as they don't want to pay the current asking price for Morata at Juve. If true I'd be mighty pissed at Arsenal if I were Leicester management. Probably a load of shit though, just thought it might be of interest to someone, somewhere...
