Interesting.

I wonder which managerial sacking kyboshed a new club for him.

Not sure he is doing himself any favours tonight:

Former Rangers midfielder Derek Ferguson on Radio Scotland:
"Gordon Greer and Grant Hanley at times have been so poor and the French have been getting balls into the box so easily. You want players to defend as if their lives depend on it and they are not doing that."

"Not seeing any pitch time in the 1-0 reverse by Italy last Saturday in the first part of their devilishly difficult friendly double-header with which they are ending the season allowed Greer to retain his record of never being on the losing side in a ten-cap international career."

What a magnificent sentence. Hats off to the subs at The Scotsman for that one.

If that was the case, it wouldn't be a massive surprise if he reignites his interest and tries to entice Greer to Rotherham.

Possibly, it's only a guess really but it was the first one that sprung to mind. I don't think it would be Celtic but Hibs is a big enough club in terms of history and fan base. Maybe he wants to have a few last years up in his home country.

He started last night so presumably this article was written beforehand. As per previous post his performance was not well received.

Talking of Scottish internationals. Charlie Mulgrew's contract is up at Celtic and according to an interview he's given he's not been offered a new contract yet. He's primarily a left back, but is also comfortable enough to play both as a centre back and in midfield. Might not be a bad option to have another versatile player in the squad to cover if another injury crisis hits.
