Danny Holla returns the next football year not return to Brighton & Hove Albion. The midfielder allowed despite an ongoing commitment to find a new employer. He has two seasons at the English club behind it.

"In consultation with the club we look out I can leave on a free transfer," the 28-year-old Holla at VI. "I've had a few years of excellent my time in England, and also playing football through a lot, but it perspective is so uncertain that it is better to look further. "

Holla played in the past for FC Groningen, PEC Zwolle, VVV Venlo and ADO Den Haag. He makes a comeback to the Dutch football no matter. "I am keen to display all at a great level, which can certainly be in the Netherlands."

Good spot. In which case it sounds like his contract has been mutually terminated as it ran to June 2017.

I wouldn't say that. He is looking for a free transfer, but if nobody comes in for him, he will still be on our payroll, I'd have thought.

Hope it works out for him. I thought he was excellent when he first arrived. God knows how it all went so horribly wrong.

The great BHA midfield clearance continues as Holla joins Crofts & Sidwell (who may return) out the door. Who will be next, JFC? Ince?

He was the best dead ball specialist we had until Knocky & Skalak arrived. The pace was too much for him in the championship. He'll perform well in slower leagues - good luck to him.

I've no idea for sure , and it certainly reads that way (although it might be the translation) Clubs occasionally do this. Colunga was our most recent example where the contract which also ran til 2017 was mutually terminated making it easier and cheaper for him to leave.
I don't think it was a complete disaster. Everyone is bruised by Hyppia's 6 months and obviously this year all the midfielders have been behind Kayal, Stevens (and Sidwell) who were virtually ever presents and playing fantastically well.

Holla stated last summer that he wanted to move back to Holland but a move never materialised.

An amazingly bad signing

I'd heard a while back he'd stopped training with us. Only a rumour from one person so never bothered posting but seems like we're helping him to move on. Yes, a stunningly bad signing and agree 100% he was never suited to the pace of The Championship.

No I'm not having that.
Holla was a signing that went downhill amazingly fast, he was plenty good enough until October.

You'd have thought the Albion could have offloaded him to Brentford solely based on his goal at Griffin Park.

I think he'd be very good for a Third or Fourth Division team. He's not without talent.

This is/was correct as I've posted on here a few times in the past few months. Was keeping himself in shape by going to the gym.
