Not seen it posted (sorry if it has) but this is the best new football song. Delivered very well and the right speed too. (I think Newcastle actually first started singing it first but fair play Wigan - and 95% of footy songs are repeated from somewhere). :clap2:

Ah sorry - has been on here before I just found it. Still... Great song & a breath of fresh air from the current generic shite doing the rounds that doesn't rhyme in the right places (Ozil/Payet/Knockaert etc).

Even this was stolen from Newcastle, who used it for Mitrovic (Mitro).

It's gone viral and now everyone is using it - Barnsley for a start. Shame, as it'll soon sound boring.

"Wil-son's..." scans much better than "Will-Grigg's..."

Of course the "on fire" bit is less accurate. Sure we could have come up with something though?

Yes but it's all about how it scans and this works ok. The Knockaert song uses the 'I just don't think you understand' line - therefore the last line should rhyme with 'stand' to some degree anyway. Just my opinion.
