* Gates open at 5pm.

* Kick off at 6pm. 90 minutes. No extra time. Straight to penalties if scores are level.

* Bars/kiosks open in West Lower - you may take your beer to your seat.

* Dicks Bar open after the match.

* Parking is free to anyone attending - Bennetts Field

Any questions, fire away - I'll try to answer.

The Albion squad have now raised in excess of £10,000 in sponsorship - a cracking effort.

Please, please try to get along, to watch us put a similar level of commitment into trying to smash Palace.

Thanks

Will anyone be performing a hand jive and hip wiggle if Palace score?

Gully's Girls will be in attendance - currently in training / rehearsals for their comeback performance. I shall get a message to them, to suggest they come up with something suitable, for the lolz.

Some names there...

Albion XI:

7. GARRY NELSON. My number one Albion hero, as a boy. Goldstone Gaz. Amazing. 47 goals in 144 Albion games, including HUNDREDS in the promotion season of 88/89. Still ONLY 55 years old - got high hopes for Garry!

8. PETER WARD. What can you say, that hasn't already been said? 81 goals in 194 games. Toss up with Sir Bobby as the club's greatest EVER striker. At 65, Wardy's just past his PEAK, but they say you never lose it...

20. RICKY MARLOWE. 5 in 25 for the Albion a few decades back, now, Ricky is a bona fide REMF LEGEND, travelling down from Scotland every year to take part. Top, top man.

Palace XI:

8. ANDY JOHNSON. Palace's Zamora. He's THAT big a deal, to them up the road - and after 74 goals in 140 games, including a hat-trick against us  who can blame them? 'AJ' is just 35 years old, and very recently quit the pro game. A daunting prospect, tbh.

9. DOC BROWN. Not, as I hoped, the mad professor from Back to the Future, but in fact a 'rapper, comedian, actor' named after said doc. He's a CELEB, innit.

Is there beamback at Selhurst Park?

There is a plan to use an iPhone, and the Amex free wifi, to FaceTime an iPhone* which will be propped up 25 yards away from the seats. Just £5 entry.

*If demand is high enough, this may be upgraded to an iPad, propped up 40 yards away.

Yes. £10 a pop to see it on a 14" black and white tv rented specially from Rumbelows which will be balanced on a small table in the centre circle.

Parish has even splashed out on a steward to wiggle the aerial around when the picture goes a bit fuzzy.

Don't you feel having ex players involved, goes against the original idea ?
Good luck and hope lots turn up.

No. It's all about raising money for the charity, at the end of the day. The three Albion ex-Pros at a combined age of 180 (!) are hardly going to control the game, and Wardy and Marlowe will only play for a limited time. Nelson is apparently still reasonably fit.

AJ, being so young, and so recently retired, does up the stakes a bit, but his appearance is MASSIVE for Palace, surely? Hopefully he drags a good few of your mob along.

Good luck and hope lots turn up.

Thank you
