Not some kind of computer based ailment, but just watched A Walk in the Woods and wondered if any on here had visited there or indeed done the Appalachian Trail. Looks more impressive than Grand Canyon for example.

The knob looks truly impressive. The trail is long. Read book but not seen film. Would love to do it. Have walked from snow at top of Grand Canyon to sleep next to the Colorado River, where it was warm due to drop in altitude, and back up to snow in the morning. Incredible walk. Also been up Mt Whitney and cycled Vancouver to LA.
The Appalachian Trail is one to do though.........on the blue ridge mountains of Virginia

The book is great

Mount Washington is meant to be spectacular
