Another years' contract... another season to sit back and marvel at the flair/guile/skill of what I consider the best right back to wear the stripes. I had the pleasure to meet him and he is a real gent... Albion is very close to his heart. The tears at the end of the S Weds match said it all.

I am happy now.

I know I may have been over emotional posting earlier this week

There is though something in that man that encapsulates this club spirit.

Plus he's absolutely eye wateringly good to watch play

How old is he...35?. Whatever...he is indecently and ridiculously fit and I think he has played every match 15/16. I want what's he's on!

i love Bruno more than calde. there i said it. Flame me.
Hard to call but Calde edges it for me, not that this is any sort of slight on Bruno - they are both club legends in the true sense of the word.

Remarkable that these two Spaniards have contributed so greatly to our fine club.

Good gawd, you set me off. I was carried away with the sheer brilliance of the evening until I read your post, and then got all maudlin for a few days. Had to get drunk, go to a decent gig which kicked it out my system.
Your recent thread has provoked much guffaws too. You carry on round these parts.
