20+ goals a season striker?

Last summer we wanted Jonathan Kodjia but wouldn't pay the extra £500k Angers wanted so we went for Hemed instead. Now he's proven (albeit with Bristol) surely he's worth a look at? 19 goals and 3 assists? - i want us to keep Hemed though, just think he needs someone to compliment him.

Ross McCormack also a good shout but Fulham would want some serious compensation considering they forked out £11 million for him! 21 goals 9 assists. - this would be an alternative to Bobby Z who surely doesn't have another year considering he's 36 in January.

Look no further than Patrick Bamford, he was class for us last season..If he had played the full 46 games he would have scored 25/30 for us....good luck by the way for next year, I still think it should be top three up.

I think the team will have 2-3 targets in mind already. Hamed and Baldock will be kept i think but i expect 2 players in of similar stature to each of them. One big and strong the other quick and good movement. Ideally i would like Baldock as a player but with a finishing touch. If we had that we would have been up in March.
It won't be McCormack to expensive for us and we would be outbid by any of the clubs coming down of those that do not get up with parachute payments still.
It is the area I expect we will focus on most.

I think we'll probably look abroad, probably for a player or two we've never heard about, to add strikers.

I think the Bristol City chairman is at least as rich as TB and also has big ambitions. Not sure we'll be poaching any players they want to keep. I wouldn't be surprised to see them really go for it next season.

We've got one.

Hemed is the Championship top scorer in 2016, and it's becuase we brought in Knockaert and Skalak in January. Give them a whole season and Hemed will get 20+.

I'd imagine we'll be looking for at least 2 strikers - to replace Zamora and Wilson. Question mark over Baldock for me, too.

Bagging a striker with a proven record in this league generally means forking out the sort of sum that means we will fail FFP. We need to trust our scouting network to be able to keep unearthing quality from overseas at bargain rates. Like Hemed in fact. A snip for the number of goals he got us.

Hopefully we avoid a League One specialist such as Cox or Grigg. Baldock & CMS have shown the step up to the Championship is something many strikers can't handle. However, Murray on the other hand ............

Good old Ross McCormack he keeps on banging in the goals doesn't he ? You have noticed though that he is still in the Championship and the teams he plays for never look like getting promoted ?

What many fans were asking for last summer was a star striker. What the club refused to do was gamble on one player and instead strengthened all round. The team delivered in terms of goals scored.

Budget this year needs to be split between retaining the players we have and strengthening the squad to make us more resilient. We need another full back and two strikers, but this is not necessarily a big ask.

Take the total goals scored by our 4 strikers this season and add 5 to it. That should be the target for our four strikers. If Hemed can deliver a second good season, these targets are fairly modest. What we need is team players not superstars. Kodjia does look good, but is he a partner or replacement for Hemed ?

I am not hugely knowledgeable about the development squad but looking at what we finished this season with I would say all we are short of is a striker so maybe we do have a bit more budget in that department this transfer window.

Whomever is the target let's hope it's done nice and early and not dragged out till deadline day!
This years pre season with most the squad already in place helped the team to bond and think it helped with our great start to the season !!!

I think Griggs would be a good signing, still young and scores goals, he can make the step up
