Fecking brilliant first half, poor second. How come we couldn't score a second or third goal? They didn't look anything special.

Stockdale 8. One brilliant save. I assume he couldn't do anything about their goal.
Bruno 8. Good game.
Dunk 9. Very good.
Greer 7. Some poor distribution.
Bong 7. Slowly finding his form again.
Kayal 9. Great game. MOM. But lucky not to have got a second yellow.
Sidwell 7. Decent enough game.
Knockhaert 8. Wonderful first half, but faded in the second.
Skalak 5. Weak link. Murphy should have started in his place.
Baldock 7. OK
Wilson 4. Nuff said.

Lua Lua 5. Not good enough.
Rosenior 7. Did what was asked of him.

I thought he did well too. Thought Murphy should have come on instead of Kaz, Kaz hasn't been the same since his injury.

At times Bong looked a bit like a rabbit in the headlights in the Rohan Ince mould tonight and not at all confident on the ball.

Stockdale 7 - possibly should have done better with their goal, kept us in it with one fine save
Bruno 8.5 - superb
Greer 7 - solid enough. Never seen him get forward so much
Dunk 8.5 - outstanding, and ran himself into the ground
Bong 7.5 - looking back to his early-season self
Knockaert 8 - tried his heart out, fantastic free kick
Kayal 7 - not as influential as he can be. Carrying a niggle
Sidwell 8 - excellent game. Won the ball loads and distributed it well
Skalak 7.5 - decent game. Blubbing his eyes out at the end.
Baldock 6.5 - typical Baldock, some great running but need more from him
Wilson 7 - better performance from him. Looked far more interested but faded (unsurprisngly)

Kaz 6 - where has the early-season Kaz gone ?
Rosenior 7 - top, top pro.

Stockdale 8 didn't have much to do, but his distribution was spot on, and that save at the end.......
Bruno 9 What a player. I hope he gets another year.
Greer 8 Decent. Probably his last game :-(
Dunk 9 The goal. The mazy run in the first half. Brightons Baresi
Bong 7.5 looking forward to seeing him back next season.
Knockaert 8.5 That freekick....
Kayal 9 He is the driving force in our team.
Sidwell 9.5 motm
Skalak 8 Legend in the making. Was sobbing his heart out at the end
Baldock 7.5 brings so much energy to the team. Just wish he would score.
Wilson 7.5 Clearly a talent, but a few years from the finished article

That first 45 minutes is one of the best I've ever seen. Just a shame we didn't have a fit Hemed or Zamora

Wilson looked lively and was unlucky a couple of times and Skalak gave everything and all but one of his deliveries were superb tonight.

Low marks for both forwards for me, worked hard, but are paid to score goals and both wasted too many chances.

Wilson has been very ordinary, but watch him kick on next season.

Stocko - 8 kept us in it with an incredible save and his distribution in the first half was phenomenal
Bruno - 9 Fantastic game, always looks so composed
Dunk - 9 didnt really put a foot wrong defensively, scored, and was a presence at every dead ball
Greer - 6 poor passing and poor touch, but did a job
Bong - 6 tbh he didnt really do anything imo, other than run into traffic and pass it sideways/backwards
Knockaert - 8 electric and dangerous in the first half, constantly finding space and causing trouble. however faded with the rest of the team in the second half
kayal - 8 typical performance from our player of the season
sidwell - 8 his best performance of the season
skalak - 6 was good in the first half, but once his crossing and dead balls start falling apart, he's abit ineffective
Baldock - 6 a few good runs in the first half
Wilson - 7 was pleasantly surprised by his energetic runs and willingness to get on the ball

Stockdale 5 Good save at end of 1st half but should have done better with their goal
Bruno 9.5 MoM for me - was everywhere
Bong 6 Showed in flashes but caught in possession a couple of times
Greer 7 - Solid
Dunk 9 - Great perfomance, looked like he was playing them on his own at one point
Skalak 9 - Best game I've seen from him. Some great crosses (apart from one free kick) and tracked back well
Kayal 7.5 - Worked hard but got a big niggly. Was lucky to stay on the field
Sidwell 9 - Dale who? Worked his socks off and was everywhere for about 70 minutes - tired at the end but had given his all
Knockaert 8 - Great free kick and some good runs but his final ball isn't always quite there
Baldock 5 - Not really in the game
Wilson 5 - Started well but faded far too quickly

LuaLua 4 - Where has the old Kaz gone. Did nothing of note ... apart from waste a free kick
Rosenior 6 Didn't really have much to do but did nothing wrong

Skalak may have given everything, but apart from his set piece delivery his "everything" just isn't enough. Hopefully he'll come good next season, but playing as a winger he really needs to figure out how to beat a full back and put in a cross.
