I opened the fridge this morning completing forgetting I had leftover saag paneer from last night's takeaway.

Really lifted my spirits.

What has happened to you today that's made you think "Hang on - we could bloomin' well do this!"?

I was made redundant. Seriously. It's not our day.

Flags being put out on the seats as we speak - as Mickey Adams used to say - keep the faith!!

It's my 666th game. What could go wrong?

Just have a feeling that this is the year; even being 0-2 doesn't change it. Also all the missing players. It's just going to make it even sweeter!

What will happen later today is consumption of alcohol which will definitely increase the "Hang on - we could bloomin' well do this!" feeling. :whisky:

I got my first iPhone and am managing to transfer data and getting it to work with no problems..............so far. Must be a good omen.

I HAVEN'T seen any single magpies today.

In run up to Palace home play off leg I saw 13 individual ones on the way down and to the ground, saw 7 individual ones on way up to Boro too.

I DIDN'T break my luck mug and I HAVEN'T forgotten to drink some tea from it like I did on Friday morning.

This reminds me of that Southampton game just after new year with Poyet. I was dreading it as we were RAVAGED by injury and coming up against a strong Stains team. JFC made his full début, Cook played his second ever game for us or something the day before we sold him, TANNO played at left back, Hall came on after Greer was sent off and we won 3-0.
