Brighton fans,

Written up some thoughts as a neutral on your 2-0 defeat at Wednesday tonight - http://www.TheFootbalLab.co.uk/2016/slick-owls-defeat-defensive-seagulls/

Thought you were a bit too cautious though injuries didn't help. Reckon you need Knockaert back to full fitness to have a chance on Monday.

Cheers and good luck in the return leg.

Jesus are you some sort of Football genius?

Injuries didn't help?
Too defensive after having to change our team positions every 15 minutes?

Thanks for the insight..

Truly fascinating....

Firstly, it's lightning - not lightening. Secondly, you might have realised that our ambitions would have been ever so slightly thwarted in the first half by losing our top scorer and best central defender at the same time. This did not just become an issue when the team was reduced to ten men with half an hour still to play. Third, I'd suggest that if Wednesday were as massively slick and impressive as you think, they should have done a damn sight better than score only twice against such a severely weakened side. Other than being almost entirely complete tripe, not a bad report.

Oh good! More worthless noise added to the internet. 'Oh I watched a game on telly and wrote a report on it. One team looked a bit defensive. You would have thought that the joint top scorers in the league would have attacked more. Where were the goals from Hemed, and Stephens and Zamora and Knockaert?'

Still at least you're not being paid for it, unlike this bloke at the Mirror, stealing a living by reporting on a game where the main talking point is that a team played for a third of the game with ten men. He didn't mention it: http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/match-reports/sheffield-wednesday-2-0-brighton-7965661

Are you actually a w*nker, or are you just pretending to be one? Either way, don't bother with a seventh post - waste of internet space.

I'd go back to doing your blog on country dancing, as you obviously know a lot more about that than you do about football.

Thought you had set up defensively before the injury. Not a criticism, just thought Wednesday played more openly. No abuse please, lads.

Assume you mean when Baldock had a shot deflected wide and Hemed had one off the post?
Yeah I see what you mean....

Great insight, thanks .

Defensively. The team that hit the post after a couple of minutes? That one? Lost two key players before half-time?

Listen son, if you're going to come on to another team's board after one of the most disappointing results in their recent history, a) have something good to say and b) don't squeal about abuse if it isn't good.
