FFS, can someone just tell me when we will hear the result of the appeal?

Thursday 19th April at 12:03pm, with the FA's apologies for taking so long to decide if a player can challenge for a ball in the air without raising their foot.

Interesting, they didn't come to a conclusion.

Good job they're not judging long jump, can you imagine it :)

Mike Dean's definitely not got a future in being a marshal at the hurdles, all that jumping up with both feet and leading studs first. He won't be having any of that, not if there's contact and the hurdle itself falls over. He'll be straight on it.

If the Stephens challenge is deemed a red then we need to start considering football as a non contact sport.

If decent shin pads were worn it wouldn't have happened, however, this isn't even the issue it wasn't even a tackle imo it was a fee ball, Gaston was the player coming in late Ffs. ....

But let's see the FA bottle it as they will do.

For anyone that says Stephens went for the ball with studs up, just take a look at the photo in this report of our last match against Wednesday.

It certainly opens up a can of worms if it's upheld. I can understand the studs up if the ball is on the ground, I could even understand it if it was directed into the player like when Ulloa got red with us. But a 50 50 ball like this is just footballing incident with the injured player failing to protect hiumself with shin pads, that's why they are called shin pads.

It's frustrating that had he worn them it would have been 11 v 11.

Reasonably sure it will not be today now - doubt they work this late!

Could this be a sign that there may be some disagreement about this matter in whatever woody, polished chamber they're deliberating in? Or am I just clutching at Gaston's tiny shin pads?

Brighton factually.....
As Dean hands his written report to the FA, Gaston flicks it out of his hand rolls on the floor pointing to his dick on his head and hands Dean a pre prapered report....

Does this give us a little bit of hope? (Clutching at straws)

Couldn't come to an agreement before end of play today?
