I'm as gutted as anyone but we need to dust ourselves off and move forwards just like the players will.
I appreciate a lot of us are still annoyed and wanting to rant, when you're ready, come here for the positives.

I'll start:

1. We are still unbeaten
2. None of the other 3 teams have beaten us this season.

Umm, didn't we lose away to Hull?

And so the reasoned and considered reappraisal of our actual reality begins.

My work here is done.

... And so the cosmic ballet goes on...

The comedy is NOT over.

Today's abject refereeing display by Dean will bring the Albion players even closer together.

Good luck for the play-offs. Gutted for you that you didn't go straight up.

Hope to see you at the Lane next season.

... because after today we won't wallow in feelings of grievance and self pity but re focus and use this experience to grow stronger. F*** me I almost feel sorry for the poor barstewards who have to face us in the coming games.

The squad will use this huge disappointment and the injustice of a very poor refereeing decision to their advantage in the play offs. They will not want to feel like this pain again and that driving force will see them prevail.

Best hope Sidwell and Towell can fill in adequately for Stephens.

Mentally we have to pick ourselves up.Wednesday don't.It would have been better if we didn't play a cup final today. If we
had missed out on automatic promotion a few weeks ago.

1) Fate deems this season to have been so good that we simply must have more of it
2) We're due Wembley triumph
3) It will piss sky, these tossbag trolls & poyet off
4) We're the best football team in the league
5) 'Cos we're Brighton & Hove Albion, we're going up

Edit: Right, I've convinced myself. Gloom gone. Let's fooking do this, folks.

1) We've got a manager who knows what he's doing.
2) We've got a fantastic set of players, not a bunch of individuals.
3) The team never give up, never hide, never blame each other. We win or lose together.
4) The form guide, and reality, clearly shows we're by far the best team in the play offs.
5) We have nothing to fear.
