So we just missed out. Disappointing, yes. Devestating, no.

Quite rightly we're all upset. Avoiding the play offs is always worthwhile. They're shit. Tense and charged, we've been there enough recently to know how it all goes.

Today was always a gimmie. A chance to do it without the extra risk. Win, and it's euphoria. Anything else and we go again.

That's the logical way to look at it. Logical is not what football fans do. Instead, a few glum faces became prominent in the concourses. A few tears were in the players eyes, too.

This was not the be all and end all. We drew. We didnt deserve to win, we finished 3rd. We now have to play 2 games against a side that we haven't beaten this year, but one we haven't looked like losing against.

That is now our focus. By the looks of it we were overfocused on today's result. Overfocused on winning. Overfocused.that this was it. Nothing else.

Tears and anxiety should be saved for play off finals and relegation shoot outs.

We actually have that still to come. And we go into that as the team that have scored the most, beleived the most and generally fought the odds all the way along.

So forget your disppointment. Wipe the tears from your eyes. Remember that we have been signicificntly and statistically better than all the sides who have finished below us.

That's because we've all pulled together. The players, as a unit. The fans. The board, who are also pulling togther, getting trains to away grounds with us as aHomogenus group.

We have all bought into #togther. Now more than ever we need to stick with it. The players need to pick each other up, we need to make it clear that we beleive in them. We all need to pick ourselves up and go again.

The way I see it - we have had the huge pressure of this game and now are better equipped to deal with the huge pressure of the play off final - and win this time
