Unfortunately my son is to poorly to go to the match today, I was wondering if you can upgrade an under18 to an adult on game day?

Yes. Just go to ticket office. Very easy to do

You might be able to do it in advance over the phone, not 100% sure though

Yep you can. Have done similar with an OAP concession to full adult. As long as you have smart card with you it's a sinch

call the ticket line, option 5 and they can email you a ticket to print at home....saves queues at the ground....easy to do
