Getting a mountain bike re-sprayed.

Morning all.
I've just bought myself a cracking second hand bike but it's a bit scuffed in places so I'd like to look at getting it re-sprayed.
It's quite an expensive bike so I obviously don't want some kid with a spray can in his back garden, it needs to be a proper job. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated and a rough quote would be handy too.
The bike is a cannondale prophet and it has a lefty front fork which I'd like done too if possible. I will supply a decal set to apply before the clearcoat goes on.
Cheers for any help.

Try the guys at SouthCoastBikes in Aldrington Basin. They rebuild bikes through their 'Specialbikes' subsection:

01273202124 or workshop@southcoastbikes.co.uk. You can view some of the paint jobs on their website

Most, if not all, car bodyshops are more than happy to do the job.

If I can throw in a note of caution, your bike has an aluminium frame, so may require specialised spraying.

I'm not entirely sure, as my local bike shop wasn't sure either, but as I also have a Cannondale, I'd be interested to know as well...

Edited for accuracy.
It's not something I've had much to do with.
But I was surprised by just how happy the 2 car places, local to me, were to do the job.
I can't remember exactly but I think I was quoted £60 or £80 all in for a bespoke job.
One fella almost seemed excited to be doing something 'different'.

I do hope the op is going to take the opportunity to personalise his bike and not factory spec it.

It's currently a British racing green colour, I want it pearlescent white, decals will be blue. May change the tyres to blue but one step at a time as the bike itself has hit my wallet and the paint job will be extra on top. The lefty front fork makes it stand out too, don't see many around.
