Following on from the Bob Dylan covers thread...

I don't know how many saw this first time round, but a claim was made that Rebecca Black's awful Friday was a Bob Dylan cover. The "original" was uploaded to YouTube. Loads of idiots fell for it, and even more geniuses who DIDN'T fall for it played along and came up with some great backstories for it. Among my favourites were someone who said it was only this track that got him through the horrors of 'Nam, and someone else who said Dylan wrote it for Hendrix, and refused to give it an actual release or ever play it again after being consumed by grief over his death.

I'll put the awful Rebecca Black song on first so anyone who didn't have the displeasure of hearing it first time round gets the joke...
