Lansdowne Place, Hove
Four points and a three-goal swing.
Or a draw and victory at the Riverside.

Unless Birmingham or QPR do us a favour.

Hope QPR somehow beat Burnley* then if Boro and us both win play out a dull 0-0 draw to secure promotion for both of us. Would be the ideal scenario as I really want Burnley to get what's coming to them.

*not gonna happen

When we have n things to choose from ... we have n choices each time.

When choosing r of them, the permutations are n × n × ... (r times)

In other words, there are n possibilities for the first choice, THEN there are n possibilites for the second choice, and so on, multplying each time.

Which is easier to write down using an exponent of r: n × n × ... (r times) = nr

In other words if we win both games, we go up.
If we lose to Boro we are highly unlikely to go up.
If anything else happens, I'll tell you at 2.30 on May 7th.

If them and that lot fail to win both games, then t'other lot will only need a win and a draw.

If t'other lot win both games then them and that lot will have to win both games.

If that lot fail to win both games then t'other lot and them will be promoted.

If them, that lot and t'other lot get docked 12 points each then another lot and an extra lot will be promoted.

Lots of ifs, thems, that's, maybes and whats you ma calls its.
