Half my time on NSC is spent reading 'Sent from my ****phone using Tapatalk'.
I'm reading a sensible comment from someone and I'm suddenly into 'Sent from...
It's like answering the phone expecting a chat with a friend and getting 'have you paid PPI?'
If you use tapatalk can you disable the bottom line?


Yes it's match day and I need to vent some anger to disperse the nerves!

I posted about this a week or so ago. I used to be able to disable this at site level, and I had done so.

Tapatalk have since moved the goalposts and have taken functionality away from site owners. They have done this because they have a premium product that they want site owners to pay for. One of the options in the paid product is that site owners can remove those signatures once again.

So, unless individual users turn it off themselves within their app, which they can do, there is nothing I can do.

I am finding Tapatalk's ways of working with site owners now to be somewhat aggressive and I expect to remove Tapatalk from NSC in the near future. Before I do, I will ensure that there is a decent native mobile interface available for those who want it.

On iPhone: Me > Settings > Signature > (Turn it off)

Just goes to show the age we live in, with so many people unable to stop their thumbs dictating their lives.
Posted on a 20th century innovation...it's called a computer. It has a bigger screen for us middle aged men to see and a keyboard which allows me to not be ham fisted tapping at a 3in key pad....and no predictive text which annoys the hell out of me.

I tried out Tapatalk again for the first time in a while and binned it almost immediately. The fact I paid for it and they still serve ads to me pisses me off no end.
