How does Cash Out work?

I know there's lots of people on here understand the ways and whys of betting much better than I, so here's a question.

I had a 10 match accumulator running today (all to win) and cash out is usually available on the bet.

At about 4.35 (all were 3pm kick off) I had 8 matches winning and the other 2 were both 1-1. No cash out was offered at all.

Is that right? As I say, I don't know much about the ins and outs of it all, but it seems it bit odd to me that 8 out of 10 winning and 2 drawing with 10-15 mins to go offered sod all?

As it happens, I ended up with 9 (poxy Plymouth) and had included the ninefolds so I got more than double my money back

Your bet wasn't winning, so cash out often not offered on accumulators in those circumstances.

It usually does though - even if it is just a few pence, it still shows something.
