?Brighton boss Chris Hughton is hoping to lay down a marker with victory when Burnley visit the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
The Championship leaders will visit the south coast - live on Sky Sports -*with the Seagulls hoping to close the four-point gap on their promotion rivals.
And Hughton, speaking to the FL72 Podcast, said his side's only intention is to make a "statement" and claim all three points.
"There's only one ambition going into the game and that's to try and win it," he said. "We know we'll have a great support behind us.*
"The fact it's a sellout on Saturday is a reflection of the theme this season and I think they [the fans] have enjoyed what the players have given them.*

"What we want to do is pay them back in a way that sees us hopefully getting the win that we want to get.
"It's a statement if we were able to get the victory. One thing I've been conscious of all season is how tough this division is.*
"We saw that with Hull and Middlesbrough where they both went through spells when you almost couldn't see them losing another game, they were that strong."
