Up in London next week and would appreciate any recommendations for food- not fussy on the type of place (pub / restaurant / street food), but prefer informal, anyone have a current great place for any of the following?

BBQ
Pizza
Malaysian
Vietnamese

Not going to do all 4 in one day but possibly need a lunch and a dinner option!

Thanks..

Not sure where you're going to be based but the best Vietnamese restaurants are definitely on Kingsland Road (East, not far from old St). My favourite is Viet Hoa - informal but still 'nice' and superb food.

Pizza Express on the Strand, just over the road from Charing Cross station.
Clean restaurant and cheerful staff.

For Vietnamese, try Wardour Street in Soho. Possibly not all super authentic but I've never had a bad lunch down there at various eateries

Thanks for all the recommendations- more welcome!

Have been to Pitt Cue once at their old place. Was impressed and that mash is amazing.
