Do the club still do this and if so what's the criterion? If March hadn't had his terrible injury he'd surely have been a shoe-in but I'm wondering who else is there to pick up the award. Goldson is 23 so not sure if he qualifies but he's been excellent the last dozen or so matches. Any other players?

I'd say March still because he was immense before his injury. Immense. Just hope he comes back as good as he ever was, he's going to have a great career

I said it last year when Texeira won it and I'll say it again: I really believe this award should be made to players who belong to us, and loanees should be excluded.

Eden Hazard won the PFA Young Player of the Year award last time out (I think it was last time) aged 24, so on that basis, and not knowing enough of the youth team squad to pick one, I'll go for Connor Goldson.

Including Paul McShane a few years ago?
