Looking at his stats, he appears to perform best at the lower league levels in Germany, rather similar to many of the strikers we already have on our books. At 28 he isn't an up and coming player, but guess his height could be of benefit if played to.

I think the answer to that largely depends on what happens in the coming few weeks. Targets often change depending on circumstances of both the club and the player involved
What we do know is that it's likely Brighton will probably be after 2 strikers this coming window, with Wilson returning to Utd and Zamora likely retiring.
We know Hughtons fond of tall strikers - he had Zigic at Brum and Carroll at Newcastle, so wouldn't be surprised if a scout had gone to see him, especially as he appears to be banging them in.
