Surely a standard job for them wouldn't pay that well and he must have a fair bit of cash. He's still commentating on footy, so not sure why he'd do it.

Perhaps he got bored during the week? Regardless of this, whatever the company are paying him, they are getting a lot of PR/advertising in return. There was an article on his new job in the Metro yesterday and it was in another of today's papers [think it was the mirror?]

I wonder if perhaps that's more the point. If they're doing well out of advertising, he'd want a slice of that, so why bother actually doing the job when he can get paid more to just pretend he's doing it?
